Welcome to my personal reading list for the year. I keep it for my own use, mostly, but feel free to take a look around for ideas if you find yourself needing a book suggestion. Fair warning: I can’t vouch for how good each book might be just because I read it.
Books recorded with date I finished reading. I will update this page with links to any books I’ve written about elsewhere on the blog. If needed, I’ll include additional notes alongside the other information.
For 2017, I’m also doing something special. Each day, I’ll be reading from The Daily Stoic 366 Meditations on Wisdom, Perseverance, and the Art of Living by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman. Each day includes a short passage from from a classic stoic philosopher in a modern translation and a page or two of discussion or food for thought on the theme. As of this writing on February 27th, any concerns I’d had going in about forgetting to keep up have evaporated as I have found the stoic touchstone each day to be something I look forward to each day.
